Cognidox, the Cambridge-based document-control and QMS vendor, was acquired by Recur Software in October 2025 and now operates as part of Recur’s enterprise SaaS portfolio.1 Companies House records Recur Software UK Ltd as holding 75% or more of the shares and votes since 5 August 2025, replacing the founders and directors as persons with significant control.2
What changed for buyers
In 2026 Cognidox moved from per-user prices to user-limited tiers. The March 2026 list charged £30 or £35 per user per month with a 20-user minimum.3 The current pricing page starts at £6,000 a year for the Starter tier.4 Our Cognidox review explains what each tier includes and how we score the change.
