# Recur Software acquires Cognidox

Cognidox, the Cambridge-based document-control and QMS vendor, was acquired by Recur Software in October 2025 and now operates as part of Recur's enterprise SaaS portfolio.[^ai-summary] Companies House records Recur Software UK Ltd as holding 75% or more of the shares and votes since 5 August 2025, replacing the founders and directors as persons with significant control.[^psc]

## What changed for buyers

In 2026 Cognidox moved from per-user prices to user-limited tiers.
