# Ketryx raises a $14M Series A

Ketryx raised a $14 million Series A led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Medical Design and Outsourcing reported on 5 December 2023. Existing investors MIT's E14 Fund and Ubiquity Ventures also took part, and a Lightspeed partner was to join the board. The round brought Ketryx's total funding to more than $18 million.[^seriesa]

The Form D filed with the SEC on 21 December 2023 shows $13,999,977 of equity sold to 5 investors, with the first sale on 6 November 2023.[^formd2023] Ketryx's two earlier filings, from 2021 and 2022, show about $2 million each.[^formd2021][^formd2022] The next round was a $39 million Series B in September 2025 (see [our news post](/news/ketryx-raises-39m-series-b/)).
