# Lauxera Capital Partners takes a majority stake in Matrix Requirements

Lauxera Capital Partners announced on 16 June 2022 that it had invested in Matrix Requirements, the German maker of MatrixALM and MatrixQMS. The initial investment of about $11.4 million (€10 million) came from its Lauxera Growth I fund and gave it a majority stake. In the announcement, Lauxera described Matrix Requirements as "consistently profitable", with average annual recurring revenue growth of 45%. More than 180 medtech companies used its two applications at the time.[^lauxera-2022] Lauxera still lists the company, now Matrix One, as a current "Growth Buy-out" holding, with June 2022 as the investment date.[^lauxera-portfolio]

The contracting company is still Matrix Requirements GmbH of Kehl, Germany.[^northdata][^terms] Since February 2024, none of the founders has been a managing director.[^northdata]

## What it means for buyers

Our [Matrix Requirements review](/reviews/matrix-requirements/) notes that the terms don't promise data return or escrow if Matrix One changes owner, and that Matrix Req list prices rose by about 31 to 33% between September 2023 and 2026.
