Matrix One announced on 6 January 2026 that it had acquired Simploud, “a cloud-based provider of Quality Management System (QMS) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software”.1 Matrix One’s own FAQ says “Simploud Ltd was acquired by Matrix One in December 2025”.2
Matrix One is the brand under which Matrix Requirements GmbH and Galen Data operate.3 Its site now lists “Matrix Quality (formerly Simploud)” next to “Matrix Req (formerly Matrix Requirements)”.4 The press release had announced the name Matrix QMS; the product page now uses Matrix Quality.12 Matrix Quality is built on Salesforce.2
Simploud’s cost calculator, now for Matrix Quality, lists a full user at $90 a month, with a minimum annual deal of $10,000.5 The billing page says implementation, migration, validation and training are included in the subscription.6
What it means for buyers
