In May 2025 Matrix Req and Galen Data “came together under one name, Matrix One”, the company says.1 Both had the same majority owner, the private-equity firm Lauxera Capital Partners (see our news post).2
Matrix One is a brand. Matrix Requirements GmbH and Galen Data, Inc. operate under it.3 Matrix Requirements GmbH is still the contracting party for Matrix Req, under German law.4 The product formerly called Matrix Requirements is now Matrix Req.5 The old matrixreq.com address redirects permanently to matrixone.health.6
What it means for buyers
For Matrix Req you still sign with Matrix Requirements GmbH. Our Matrix Requirements review covers Matrix Req together with Matrix Quality, which Matrix One added in January 2026.
