# Matrix Requirements and Galen Data become Matrix One

In May 2025 Matrix Req and Galen Data "came together under one name, Matrix One", the company says.[^about] Both had the same majority owner, the private-equity firm Lauxera Capital Partners (see [our news post](/news/lauxera-acquires-galen-data/)).[^lauxera-galen]

Matrix One is a brand. Matrix Requirements GmbH and Galen Data, Inc. operate under it.[^legal] Matrix Requirements GmbH is still the contracting party for Matrix Req, under German law.[^terms] The product formerly called Matrix Requirements is now Matrix Req.[^home] The old matrixreq.com address redirects permanently to matrixone.health.[^redirect]

## What it means for buyers
