Dot Compliance pricing

Dot Compliance sells by quote and has never shown a price on its own website. The only figure we found is a $10,000-a-year starting price on a software directory, without a user count.

What Dot Compliance costs

Dot Compliance doesn’t publish prices. Its website has no pricing page and sends visitors to a demo request.1 Its Salesforce AppExchange listing gives “Request a demo” in place of a price (checked September 2026).2 Capterra lists pricing as “contact vendor”, and G2’s pricing page shows no prices.34

We found no archived page where the vendor showed a price, and a pricing address on its site returns an error page, so there is no old price list to work from.5

The one figure we found

A software-directory listing on SourceForge says prices start at “10,000$ a year (validation included)”.6 The text is the same in snapshots from January 2023, July 2025 and February 2026. The listing is vendor-supplied, and it doesn’t say how many users or which edition that covers. Treat it as a rough floor, not a quote.

Our method needs at least two independent price signals from different origins before we give an estimate. Here there is one, so we show the price as “on request” and can’t say what a 10-person team would pay.

Editions and what’s included

Dot Compliance has sold the eQMS in editions:78

  • QMS Xpress (later eQMS Xpress): document control, training, change control, CAPA, complaints, audits, risk and supplier quality.
  • Compliance Xpand: adds manufacturing and specialty areas.
  • Enterprise Xact: tailored configurations.

The edition pages now redirect to the homepage, which sells the eQMS by module.1 None of them has ever had a public price.

Some things are included in the subscription:

  • Salesforce licence: the eQMS runs on Salesforce, but you don’t need your own Salesforce licence.1
  • Validation: the validation documentation package is part of the subscription.9

Fees that may come on top

  • Implementation and consulting: Dot Compliance sells these services, but doesn’t say whether they are required or cost extra.10
  • Supplier access: suppliers can respond through a community site, which needs external licences.11

Ask for both to be itemised in the quote.

What users say about cost

On Capterra, six reviewers praise the value for money, while three say licences are costly, in part because of the Salesforce platform.12 None of them gives a figure. We found no first-hand price reports on Reddit; posts there only mention Dot Compliance on evaluation shortlists.13

Renewals and price history

Neither prices nor customer terms are public. The website terms cover only use of the website and say nothing about subscription fees or renewals.14 So there is no escalator or renewal cap to check, and no price history on the vendor’s own site.2

The only figure, the directory listing’s $10,000 starting price, is the same in snapshots from 2023 to 2026.6 We found no user reports of renewal increases.12 Ask for a written cap on renewal increases.

Contract length and exit

We found no published minimum term, renewal terms or process for exporting your data at the end of the contract.14 Integrations use Salesforce’s APIs.15 We also found no public commitment to return your data or place it in escrow if the vendor closes or is sold.14 Get the term, the exit export and the data-return terms into the contract.

How Dot Compliance compares on price

  • Qualityze also runs on Salesforce and doesn’t publish prices on its website. Its AppExchange listing gives $30 per user per month for the lowest licence type, and the vendor says implementation and validation packages are part of every quote.1617
  • Scilife also covers pharma and devices, also sells by quote only, and lists the validation package in every paid tier.18
  • SimplerQMS publishes a starting price of $17,500 a year for up to 15 users, including implementation, validation, data migration and training.19

Of these, only SimplerQMS lets you compare a published figure before a sales call. For Dot Compliance, ask for a written quote that names the user count, the modules and any service fees.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Dot Compliance cost?
Dot Compliance doesn’t publish prices. A vendor-supplied software-directory listing says it starts at $10,000 a year with validation included, but doesn’t say for how many users or which edition. With only that one figure, we can’t estimate what a 10-person team would pay.
Does Dot Compliance publish its prices?
No. Its website has no pricing page and sends visitors to a demo request, and its Salesforce AppExchange listing says the same. Capterra lists pricing as ‘contact vendor’, and G2’s pricing page shows no prices.
Is there a free trial of Dot Compliance?
Only on request. The free trial is ‘subject to pre-qualification’, and the AppExchange listing still advertises a 14-day trial. Demos are available on request.
What fees come on top of the Dot Compliance subscription?
The validation documentation package is included, and you don’t need a separate Salesforce licence. Dot Compliance also sells consulting and implementation services, but doesn’t say whether they’re required or cost extra. Supplier access through the community site needs external licences.
Can Dot Compliance raise prices at renewal?
We can’t tell. Neither prices nor customer terms are public, so there is no escalator or renewal cap to check. We found no user reports of renewal increases. Ask for a written cap on renewal increases.
