Part of Best QMS Software (https://bestqmssoftware.com/). Prices of all systems: https://bestqmssoftware.com/pricing/

Ketryx has never published a price for a paid plan. A $0 Free plan exists for pre-market companies that raised under $2 million; everything else is 'contact sales'.

- Overall score: 6.5 out of 10 (#9 of 18 systems tested)
- Price: on request (No public prices for paid plans (Sep 2026). A $0 Free plan is limited to pre-market companies that raised under $2M. Self-serve 30-day trial.)
- Best for: You build software as a medical device, your engineers live in Jira and Git, and you want design controls, risk and IEC 62304 records generated from that work.
- Watch out: We found no documented supplier, internal audit, DMR/DHR or vigilance-reporting workflows, so most device companies will run it next to another eQMS.

## What Ketryx costs

We don't know. As of 30 September 2026, the [pricing page](https://www.ketryx.com/pricing) lists four plans.[^pricing] Free costs $0 a year but is limited to pre-market companies that raised less than $2 million. Startup (for companies under 200 people), Business and Enterprise are "contact sales".[^pricing] The page no longer lists what each plan includes.[^pricing]

## How we got the price

We looked for three kinds of signal and found none for the paid plans:

- **The vendor's own pages.** The current pricing page and archived copies from September 2023 to June 2026 never showed a dollar price for a paid plan.[^pricing][^pricing2024][^pricing2025]
- **Third-party listings.** The Atlassian Marketplace app is free, but it is only the Jira connector and needs a Ketryx subscription.[^atlassian]
- **Buyers.** We found no price paid in reviews, forums or benchmark sites.

So Ketryx's price is "on request", and we can't estimate a cost for a 10-person team.

## Plans and tiers

The current page names four plans but no limits.[^pricing] Archived versions show how the plans used to be cut:

- In 2024 the Free plan allowed up to 4 users, and onboarding support was listed only on the Growth and Enterprise plans.[^pricing2024]
- In 2024 the entry paid plan, then called Start Up, allowed up to 10 users.[^pricing2024]
- In November 2025 the Essentials plan allowed up to 20 users, and the Business plan up to 70, with SOP templates and post-market surveillance.[^pricing2025]

Plan names and limits have changed since 2024, so ask which plan your team size needs and what it includes.

## Fees on top

Professional services such as white-glove implementation exist; the page doesn't say what they cost.[^services] We found nothing saying they are mandatory. In the 2024 and 2025 pricing tables, SOP templates were not on the entry paid plan.[^pricing2024][^pricing2025] Whether they come with today's Startup plan is unknown.

## What a 10-person team pays

We can't say. The Free plan doesn't fit: it needs under $2 million raised, and in 2024 it stopped at 4 users.[^pricing][^pricing2024] A 10-person company would buy Startup, whose price isn't public.[^pricing] Ask for a written quote that names the user count, the modules and any services.

## Price history

There is no list-price history to check, because Ketryx has never published a paid price.[^pricing2024][^pricing2025] We found no user reports of renewal increases.

## Renewal, contract length and exit

The terms set a one-year initial term that renews automatically unless you give 60 days' notice.[^terms] The startup page instead promises monthly pricing and no minimum commitment, so confirm the term in your order.[^startup]

The terms let Ketryx raise fees at any time, effective from your next renewal, and set no cap.[^terms] Ask for a renewal cap in your order form.

On exit, a full project can be exported as a JSON archive. Documents export to Word, Excel and PDF, and the approval history exports to CSV.[^man13][^export-faq][^history-faq] The terms have no clause for returning your data or putting it in escrow if Ketryx becomes insolvent, stops the service or changes owner.[^terms]

## How Ketryx compares on price

The closest alternatives for software device teams are easier to budget. [Matrix Requirements](/pricing/matrix-requirements/) publishes prices for both its products and comes to about $22k a year for a 10-person team. [OpenRegulatory Formwork](/pricing/formwork/) costs $7k a year for unlimited users. [Orcanos](/pricing/orcanos/) is also "on request" today, but its last public list, from 2021, put ALM and QMS together at $1,250 a month for up to 10 users. To compare Ketryx, get a quote and check it against these published figures.
