Matrix One publishes prices for both products a full device QMS needs. Matrix Req for three engineers plus ten Matrix Quality licences comes to about $21.8k a year at list prices.

## What Matrix Requirements costs

A full medical device QMS from Matrix One takes two products, each priced separately. **Matrix Req** handles requirements, risks, tests and traceability. **Matrix Quality**, a Salesforce-based eQMS acquired in January 2026, adds suppliers, audits, nonconformances and complaints.[^quality][^simploud-pr] Our price covers both, because that is the combination we score.

Both price lists are public. Matrix Req's plans start at €710 a month including 3 users, and Matrix Quality charges per licence.[^req-prices][^quality]

## How we got the price

All inputs are the vendor's own published prices. Matrix Req's price list sits on its product page and only appears after JavaScript runs; we checked it in a browser on 30 September 2026 and in the page source on 4 October 2026.[^req-prices] The US-dollar prices come from an unlinked Matrix One plan page, updated February 2026.[^list2026] Matrix Quality's prices come from its product page and the Simploud cost calculator.[^quality][^simploud-calc]

One conflict: the separate "Get pricing" page still describes Matrix One pricing as bespoke.[^pricing] We use the product-page list because it is more specific.

## Plans and tiers

Matrix Req, as listed on 30 September 2026:[^req-prices]

- **Team Plus:** €710 a month including 3 users ($920 on the USD list).
- **Company Plus:** €1,090 a month including 3 users ($1,390). Adds the built-in eQMS for SOPs, CAPA and complaint management, and training.
- **Enterprise Plus:** from €2,600 a month for 20 users ($3,390), by quote. Adds single sign-on, 2FA and local hosting options.

Extra read/write users cost €65 a month on every plan ($89 on the USD list). Read-only users cost €13 a month on Team and Company, and nothing on Enterprise.[^req-prices][^list2026]

Matrix Quality costs $15, $45, $90 or $125 per user a month by licence type, with a $10,000 minimum annual deal.[^quality][^simploud-calc]

## Fees on top

The 2026 price list has no mandatory fees. A "Comprehensive Onboarding package" costs $8,000 and is optional.[^req] Matrix Quality's billing page says implementation, migration, validation and training are included.[^billing] Single sign-on for Matrix Req needs Enterprise Plus.[^req-prices]

## What a 10-person team pays

Our reference setup is Matrix Req Team Plus for three engineers plus ten Matrix Quality Full licences. That is $11,040 plus $10,800, about **$21.8k a year** at published prices.[^list2026][^quality] Each extra Matrix Req user adds €65 a month.[^req-prices]

A cheaper option is Company Plus alone for ten users: €18,540 a year (€13,080 plus seven extra users at €780 a year each).[^req-prices] It lists SOPs, CAPA, complaint management and training, but not Matrix Quality's supplier, audit and nonconformance workflows. We found no complaint workflow in Matrix Req's help center.[^qmsdocs]

## Price history

Matrix Req's list prices have risen. In September 2023, Team cost €540 and Company €820 a month. In 2026, Team Plus costs €710 and Company Plus €1,090, about 31–33% more.[^list2023][^req-prices] Extra users went from €57 a month in 2025 to €65.[^list2025][^req-prices] In 2025 onboarding was also mandatory, at €1,500–2,500; it is now optional.[^list2025][^req]

Matrix Quality's per-licence rates haven't changed since October 2025, but its minimum annual deal went from $7,500 to $10,000 in early 2026.[^simploud-2025][^simploud-calc] We found no statement on whether existing customers keep old prices. ## Renewal, contract length and exit

Subscriptions are annual and auto-renew, and fees for the rest of the term stay due if you cancel early.[^pricing][^terms] The terms also mention monthly plans but leave the term to the order form; the pricing page says Matrix One sells annual subscriptions only.[^terms][^pricing]

The terms let Matrix One raise its price list during a contract after giving notice. They set no cap, and if you keep using the product after the effective date, you've accepted the new fee. Your only alternative is to terminate.[^terms]

On exit, Matrix Req exports to Excel, XML, PDF and Word, offers a full project backup and has a public REST API.[^export][^api] Matrix Quality has a scheduled Salesforce data export, format not stated.[^sf-export] The terms don't promise data return or escrow if Matrix One becomes insolvent, stops the service or changes owner.[^terms]

## How Matrix Requirements compares on price

For software-heavy device teams, the closest alternatives price very differently. [Ketryx](/pricing/ketryx/) publishes no prices for paid plans, so you need a quote to compare. [Orcanos](/pricing/orcanos/) has no public prices either; its last public list, from 2021, put ALM and QMS together at $1,250 a month for up to 10 users. [OpenRegulatory Formwork](/pricing/formwork/) costs $7k a year for unlimited users, but logs complaints only as incidents and has no Jira or Git integration. Of the four, Matrix One and Formwork are the two with current public prices.
