Veeva Vault QMS pricing

Veeva doesn't publish prices for Vault QMS. The only data we found, Vendr's buyer line items, points to roughly $54,000–56,000 a year for 10 users of QualityDocs, QMS and Training, before implementation. That is one source, from larger buyers, so we show the price as on request.

What Veeva Vault QMS costs

Veeva doesn’t publish prices on any of its websites, and we found no past price list (checked October 2026).12 Its MedTech quality pages offer contact forms and product sheets, not prices.3 Veeva now markets the product as “Veeva QMS”, but price sites still call it Veeva Vault QMS.14

What a device team buys

Veeva sells its quality products as separate applications on one platform:3

  • QualityDocs: document control, including design history files.
  • QMS: quality processes such as complaints, nonconformances, CAPA, audits, suppliers and change control.
  • Training: a separate product that needs QualityDocs.5

Our review prices and scores these three together, because a device company needs all of them for core QMS coverage. Three more products are separate purchases:

  • Product Surveillance: complaint reportability and FDA eMDR and EU MIR submissions, “an application add-on for Veeva QMS”.6
  • Veeva RIM Registrations: UDI submissions to the FDA’s GUDID and to EUDAMED.7
  • Veeva PLM: requirements with trace matrices.8

Veeva also sells QuickVault, a separate product for small and early-stage device companies. It has its own application and a startup package with SOP templates and five hours a month of QA/RA support.29 We found no published price for QuickVault either, and this page doesn’t cover it.

Price signals

The only price data comes from Vendr, a software purchasing service (checked October 2026):4

  • Across all Veeva products: a median contract of $188,460 a year, from $90,720 to $491,710. Vendr’s product list includes Veeva CRM and Vault RIM as well as Vault QMS, so this isn’t a QMS figure.
  • Quality line items in the page’s underlying data:
    • a fixed “Quality Base” subscription of about $24,200 to $24,600;
    • about $1,331 to $1,352 per unit for Vault QMS (60 units);
    • about $1,358 to $1,579 per QualityDocs full user (51 to 105 users);
    • about $242 to $246 per Training learner (10 to 15 users).

Our reading of the Vendr data

Vendr doesn’t say what each unit covers. Our reading is that units are per user per year and Quality Base is a fixed platform fee. On that reading, 10 users would cost:4

  • Quality Base: about $24,200;
  • QMS: about $13,300;
  • QualityDocs: about $13,600 to $15,800;
  • Training: about $2,400.

That comes to roughly $54,000 to $56,000 a year, before implementation and add-on products. Treat it as a rough guide. It comes from one source, and the unit prices come from buyers with 51 to 105 users, so a small team may pay more per seat. Because our method needs two independent price signals for an estimate, the price on this site stays “on request”.

Fees on top

  • Implementation: sold as professional services. Veeva’s annual report says growth in that revenue came mainly from “business consulting and implementation services”.10 We found no published amount.
  • Data migration: Veeva recommends doing it with a Veeva team or partner.11
  • Add-on products: Product Surveillance, RIM Registrations and PLM each come on top, if you need them.678
  • Quality Base: if our reading is right, it is a fixed fee whatever your team size. That is our inference from Vendr’s data, not a Veeva statement.4

Renewals and contract terms

  • Term: Veeva’s customer terms aren’t public. Its annual report says subscriptions are “typically for a term of one year”.10 Vendr lists annual billing.4
  • Price increases: the annual report says some of Veeva’s contracts raise prices at renewal by the lower of 4% or US inflation, and names this as a revenue driver for its development and commercial products. It doesn’t say whether quality contracts include it.10
  • Price history: with no published prices, there’s nothing to compare against.
  • User reports: we found no reports of renewal price increases in G2’s Veeva reviews.12 Reddit couldn’t be searched because the archive we use timed out.
  • Growing the team: the Vendr data shows per-user licences plus a fixed base fee, so the cost per user should fall as the team grows.4

Ask for the renewal cap and term in writing before you sign.

Leaving

Customers can export records, audit history and document metadata to CSV, and export documents with their renditions, using built-in tools.1314 A public API is available.15 With no public terms, we can’t say whether Veeva charges for an export at the end of the contract, or what happens to your data if Veeva is sold or closes.

How Veeva Vault QMS compares on price

  • MasterControl doesn’t publish prices either and licenses per named user. Capterra lists its Basic package from $25,000 a year, and we estimate $25,000–72,000 a year for 10 users on the Complete package, plus implementation. Its subscriptions renew at “then-current fees” with no cap.16
  • TrackWise Digital has no public price. Its maker’s own Salesforce AppExchange listing shows $200 per user per month, last updated in March 2022, which would be about $24,000 a year for 10 users before implementation. Contracts renew for 36 months unless the order form says otherwise.17
  • Greenlight Guru publishes a starting price of $12,000 a year. We estimate $12,000–30,000 a year for 10 people, plus implementation.18

None of these figures is a quote. For Veeva, ask for Quality Base, each product and each user type as separate lines, and for implementation as a fixed price.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Veeva Vault QMS cost?
Veeva doesn’t publish prices (October 2026). Vendr’s buyer data shows a fixed ‘Quality Base’ subscription of about $24,200 to $24,600 plus per-unit prices for QMS, QualityDocs and Training. If those are yearly per-user prices, 10 users would cost roughly $54,000 to $56,000 a year before implementation. It comes from one source and from buyers with far more than 10 users, so we show the price as on request.
Which Veeva products does a medical device company pay for?
For core QMS coverage: QualityDocs for documents, QMS for quality processes and Training, which needs QualityDocs. Product Surveillance (eMDR and EU MIR reporting), Veeva RIM Registrations (UDI submissions) and Veeva PLM (requirements and trace matrices) are separate purchases.
Is implementation included in the Veeva Vault QMS price?
No. Veeva sells implementation as professional services, and its annual report names business consulting and implementation services as the main driver of growth in that revenue. Veeva recommends working with a Veeva team or partner on data migration. We found no published amount.
Can Veeva raise prices at renewal?
Veeva’s customer terms aren’t public. Its annual report says some of its contracts raise prices at renewal by the lower of 4% or US inflation, and names this for its development and commercial products. It doesn’t say whether quality contracts include it, so ask for the renewal terms in writing.
Is Veeva Vault QMS more expensive than MasterControl?
We can’t say for sure, because neither publishes prices. Vendr’s Veeva line items point to roughly $54,000 to $56,000 a year for 10 users before implementation. We estimate MasterControl at $25,000 to $72,000 a year for 10 users on its Complete package, plus implementation. Both figures rest on data from larger buyers.
